For example, we recently did a beautiful holiday dinner dance party at the Longboat Key Club. We used our 6′ tall black iron trees with extra branches added and decorated with gorgeous sprays of orchids and trailing dazzling hanging votive candles. At the base, we used 12 cylinders in varying heights with floating candles nested into a gold lame’ fabric…simply stunning!
Affairs in the Air also added to the décor of this room by using gossamer and tiny lighting in the ceiling. Lighting is a critical component of party planning…good lighting adds so much to the atmosphere and ambience of the room. And the linens are also a critical element to consider when planning a fabulous holiday party–the brick black and gold linens used for this Longboat Party were from Shannon of Connie Duglin Linens.
