This happy couple were from New York City and the lovely bride worked for the Hyatt Hotel gobal chain, so they decided to get married at the Hyatt Regency here in Sarasota. What a great choice for a beautiful Florida wedding!
The ceremony took place at the gazebo on the property and was decorated with 2 stunning floral sprays in shades of soft pink. At the back of the aisle were 2 stanchions filled with pink roses and more that greeted the guests, and later, during cocktails, these stanchions were moved to the ballroom and used on either side of the cake. The delicious cake was supplied by the Hyatt and we added a luscious touch of floral with a couple of garden roses and a peony. It really looked beautiful!
The bride carried a lovely bouquet of peonies and roses in cream and soft pink shades. It was breathtaking! With their full and rounded bloom, peonies add a very romantic and lush look to a bouquet. Did you know they are believed to be an omen of good fortune and a happy marriage?
The bridesmaids carried smaller cream and light pink bouquets which looked striking against their deep navy dresses. The sweet ring bearer and sign bearer, in their sweet little navy bow ties and navy shorts, were adorable as they entered with their mom, who happened to be one of the bridesmaids!
For the reception table centerpieces, simple low arrangements in glass vases were used with hydrangea, roses and stock flowers also in shades of soft pink.
And this couple definitely added their own unique touch, when they boarded a boat for their get-away! It certainly made for a wonderful and fun exit from an absolutely perfect day!
