The beaches in the Sarasota area are popular for destination weddings and one of the favorites is the beach on Anna Maria. The SandBar Restaurant on Anna Maria Island has a perfect setup for the destination bride. The SandBar is located right on the beach and also a tented gazebo on the beach. For this destination couple, Flowers by Fudgie provided one of our bamboo and fabric canopies trimmed with yellow lilies and blue orchids. The wedding aisle on Anna Maria beach was lined with palm fronds. While the groom was in his formal uniform, all the other men worn yellow orchid leis.
The reception tables carried out the beach theme with glass bowls filled with sand and shells and topped with yellow lilies and blue orchids. Votive candles were added with miniature shells and a single blue orchid trimmed each napkin. Each detail helped to round out the tropical theme.
