For Sarasota beach weddings, Lido Beach Resort is a great venue!! The setting was picture perfect this day for a wedding with a color scheme of lavender and purple. The backdrop for the ceremony was our bamboo and fabric canopy decorated with 2 floral clusters of roses and orchids. The lavender rose, Cool Water, is contrasted by the deeper purple dendrobium Bombay orchids.
The reception was held in the Sunset Terrace on the 8th floor at the Lido Beach Resort. This room has just an awesome view with its panoramic scene of the gulf. The guest reception tables décor included a set of 3 cylinders at varying heights with shells in the base and then topped with the Bombay orchids and floating candles. This provided a pop of color on each table as well as brought in a bit of a beach theme and some candle light.
The sweetheart table was edged with rose petals and decorated with the bride’s bouquet following the ceremony. We always suggest getting as much double usage from the flowers when every possible.
