Longboat Key Club is a favorite venue for weddings as ceremony and reception flow seamlessly when everything is at the one location. This Bradenton couple chose the club’s Harbourside location to host both their ceremony and the reception.
Flowers by Fudgie provided the bamboo canopy which was set on the lawn and decorated with soft pink roses and green orchids. The aisle was lined with Shepard hooks holding glass cones of green button mums and pink roses. Guests were welcomed to the ceremony with lovely arrangements of green hydrangea and pink roses on slender white stanchions at the back of the aisle and carpet aisle runners complete the look.
The bride carried ivory roses with a scattering of rhinestone sprays tucked throughout the bouquet. Her attendant wore a pink gown and carried a bouquet of soft pink roses and green dendrobium orchids. Wedding coordinator, Bobbi Hicks of Weddings by Bobbi, was on hand seeing to every detail and keeping the evening moving along smoothly.
After the ceremony, guests moved into the ballroom to enjoy dinner and dancing. Affairs in the Air draped the ceiling beautifully with fabric and white lights, putting a romantic ambiance in the air. The tables were set with sparkling candelabrum decorated with pink roses. Around the base of each candelabra we placed three arrangements of green hydrangea and pink roses.
The romance of the day was captured by the experts at Sage Art Photography. Special thanks to them for providing the photos for our gallery. And our friends at Pastries by Design provided Jaya and John their first sweet taste of wedding bliss with a scrumptious cake with pink roses cascading from layer to layer.
