This local couple had a dazzling wedding on the beach at the beautiful Longboat Key Club. The reception took place later at the gorgeous Harbourside Room.
This charming couple chose soft pastel pinks and yellows as the pretty color scheme for the beach wedding. They were married under our bamboo canopy with flowing sheer fabric and two stunning arrangements of pink lilies and yellow orchids in the upper corners.
Guest were greeted with 2 floral arrangements on top of tiki torch posts at the back of the aisle which was lined with pink petals. They had an amazingly beautiful day at the beach on Longboat Key. It’s always a relief when the weather cooperates for a beach wedding! But rain or shine, we are on stand-by to do whatever it takes to make the best day possible for our bride and groom!
The bride continued the pretty pink color scheme when she chose pink lilies with small white dendrobium orchids for her bouquet. She also wore a few orchids in her hair—such a lovely touch! Since this little orchid is so durable, it is what we recommend most for hair flowers that will hold all day, even out in the heat!
The bridesmaids’ bouquets were comprised of white lilies with yellow small orchids, which contrasted nicely against their pink gowns! The boutonnières for the men were designed with the Marco Polo blush pink orchids. They looked sharp!
The reception ceiling in the Harbourside Room at the Longboat Key Club was beautifully draped with fabric and lighting by Affairs in the Air. Draping fabric always adds a dramatic and polished touch to a room. Affairs in the Air never disappoints! We topped each of the tables, as well as the longer head feasting table, with tall cylinders filled with pink orchids that were uplit with LED lights to give a soft glow. This is such a romantic and ethereal look…just gorgeous!
This fun bride and groom chose a cupcake tower by Pastries By Design instead of the traditional wedding cake. We added some pink open lilies to the tower and it was a big hit with the guests!
And thanks to Nicole Kaney and her staff at NK Productions, the day went smoothly and was enjoyable for all involved. She is the consummate professional!
