The beautiful Powel Crosley Estate was the perfect setting for this dazzling destination “country chic” wedding. From the cream roses to the black lanterns, it was a sight to see!
This blushing bride carried a stunning bouquet of hydrangea with open Mondial garden roses with blush and cream spray roses nested between, while the bridesmaids carried natural hand-tied small clusters of open roses mixed with other small garden flowers. These bouquets complemented each other very well and went beautifully with the overall decor!
The ceremony was held under the arch at the lovely logia of the Powel Crosley Estate. Two alluring all-white hydrangea mounds on top of urns and columns framed the couple, while two low arrangements of hydrangea were used at the back of the aisle on the half wall entry. One can never go wrong with beautiful hydrangea flowers…they always make a bold, beautiful statement!
Since this was a destination wedding and the bride had very specific ideas for the reception table centerpieces, we set out to allay the bride’s concerns by setting up 16 feet of a table with linens and lanterns ahead of time, took a photo, and sent it to our bride so she could envision what we were planning—and she LOVED it! We will do whatever it takes to please our brides and make sure they have the perfect wedding day! We provide a personal touch with each and every wedding!
This couple wanted feasting-style tables for their reception. Each feasting table featured a burlap runner placed down the length of the table decorated with black lanterns and a mix of mercury glass of hydrangea in varying sized vases.
We also included our dazzling mercury glass pedestals candle holders with LED pillar candles—this provides wonderful light and shine!
Although the elements for the feasting tables were simple, this kind of centerpiece makes a STATEMENT! And what a statement it was! It took many, many pieces to fill these two long 30 foot tables used for the wedding: 16 lanterns, 72 small vases with single hydrangea, 32 mercury pedestal candle holders and candles, 62 other smaller mercury votives and 32 mason jars with candles…wow! Another nice detail for the tables was the the use of twine to attach the place card to the napkins which had a swig of million star babies breath tied to it…very pretty!
Jamie and her crew from Simply Gourmet handled the catering for the reception meal. Jamie and her crew always do a lovely job and everybody leaves feeling satisfied from their delicious offerings!
