This all white and silver themed wedding was at the incomparable Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort and Golf Club. The ceremony took place in the stunning tea garden on the grounds at the Vinoy, while the reception took place in the Grand Ballroom.
This beautiful bride shared, “I wanted something very clean and classic…the unofficial theme was ‘Winter Wonderland’ since it was in January, even though it was Florida and 70 degrees!” So we did our very best to deliver a dreamy white and silver floral design theme throughout the wedding ceremony and the reception to create a magical winter wonderland atmosphere.
The bride carried a sophisticated all-white bouquet of roses and freesia. White flowers were used down the aisle and on the gazebo for the ceremony. The gazebo was also draped in white. This bouquet was later used on the sweetheart table for the reception. The white wedding cake was also a stunner surrounded by pretty roses at its base.
For the reception, elevated all-white arrangements of roses and hydrangeas were used on some tables and dazzling silver manzanita branched arrangements on other tables with hanging glowing votives. These looked so lovely under the Chihuly chandeleier which was a great inspiration for the bride. She said, “I wanted the ceremony to be outdoors, and the reception venue to be something that would take my breath away. I felt like the Chihuly chandelier in the Vinoy Grand Ballroom did just that and… the Tea Garden was perfect, especially with the flowers and aisle décor.”
