This fun and colorful destination wedding was a gorgeous event—the ceremony was on the beach and the receptions was outdoors near the Marina at the Longboat Key Club. It was a breezy and beautiful day and was a perfect day for an outdoor wedding…
This bride loved color, so her bridal bouquet was a garden mix which included garden roses, gorgeous café latte large dahlias, pink astilbe and veronica with feather eucalyptus. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of this stunning bridal bouquet.
Feasting tables were chosen for the reception. Feasting tables continue to be popular with brides as their wedding guests can mingle with others and get to know more people. These feasting tables had a runner of flowers with candles. We pulled in some gold mercury holders for the flowers, which were in pretty shades of pink to hot pink with bits of greenery nested between, and we used lots of candles with sand, shells and star fish for an added beachy flair.
The lovely shades-of-pink ombre cake by Pastries by Design included garden roses and spray roses with touches of greenery also. This continued garden-look theme worked wonderfully with this venue!
This beautiful day also had a lot of fun details including a sweet message in a bottle detail, sand dollar place cards, and “Wifey for Lifey” on the bride’s shoes.
