This wonderful couple grew up in sunny Sarasota, FL and returned with their families to have their dream wedding at St. Martha’s Catholic Church and reception at the always exquisite Selby Gardens in the ballroom with the delicious catering done by Michael’s on East. It was a beautiful day!
The bride chose all white and cream tone flowers for her bouquet as well as the bridesmaids' bouquets. The bride loved peonies so we included them in her bouquet along with hydrangea, roses, and lisianthus. It was stunning! The flower girls had a downsized version without the peonies—they were super pretty and super fun! The all-white look is always elegant and always sophisticated! This monochromatic look was also used for the mens' boutonnieres along with the mothers' wrist corsages.
For the reception, we introduced a little blush color so we used Quicksand roses in all the table centerpieces and in the cake flowers as well. One of the most important things for this couple was candles, lots and lots of candles! They love candles and wanted loads of them, so we used many floating candles, most on raised pedestals and also many of the silver mercury votives. It was simply beautiful and filled the ballroom with a warm ambiance.
For the 20 guest tables, half of them had a silver mercury footed bowl with a lovely blush and cream arrangement with silver votives, and the other half had small arrangements similarly styled with 2 varying height silver pedestals with more floating candles and also silver low votives.
The head table also had many glowing candles and a few of the footed silver bowl arrangements. We also loaned the bride silver vases to work between the other arrangements so that the bridesmaids had a place to put their bouquets so they got a little double duty! It was gorgeous.
This was such a beautiful wedding and a joy to work on. The following talented vendors helped make this joyous day a reality!
