We love all-white weddings and this was another beautiful one held at the Longboat Key Club in the Harbourside Venue. This is one of the many venues the LBK Club has to offer to brides and grooms looking for that perfect Florida wedding! It's a wonderful place to get married...
This lovely couple loved the look of lot of greenery so we used it in abundance. Greenery was trailed in lots of places and included in all the florals—greenery adds a delightful fresh and natural touch to the overall floral design of this wedding.
The bride and groom elected to have a "first look" prior to their wedding. This is a great idea for some couples. It's often done so that photos can be taken prior to the wedding which allows the couple to enjoy more of their reception. The groom met the bride under the stately banyan trees for theirs!
This couple's ceremony took place in front of the gazebo with the 2 huge palm trees behind them—a beautiful and very Florida look! To frame the couple on either side during the ceremony, we used 2 gold columns with urns and garden-like floral arrangements. We later transferred these arrangements inside and used them on either side of the sweetheart table at the reception.
We've said it before and we'll say it again, we love when our flowers can do double-duty for the couple. The couple had a petal toss (with white petals, of course!) after the their service as they walked back out and down the aisle together—so romantic and pretty!
The elegant white bridal bouquet was designed with gorgeous garden roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, veronicas, tulips, and, of course, greenery which included ruscus and plumosa. It was a large bouquet which was absolutely jaw dropping! Her six bridesmaids had a downsized bouquet with a similar look and feel. This creates a lovely continuity among the floral design and adds a sophisticated touch!
Cocktails were on the outside terrace and the reception was held in the large ballroom. The place card table had a lovely tall elevated all white garden-look arrangement and the place cards themselves had a little leaf attached to each one. The guest table centerpieces were designed with all gold geometric containers with cream roses and spray roses with Italian ruscus greenery trailing throughout. The sweetheart table was at the head of the ballroom with a fabric draping behind it with a geometric frame with their initials in gold. We added greenery and garden and spray roses to the large monogram...it was wonderful!
