This was a small and intimate wedding on a beach access on the incomparable Longboat Key with a lovely reception dinner at the Chart House on Longboat Key as well. It might have been small, but it packed a big punch with beauty and elegance!
The most important thing for this bride was to have the King Protea flower for her bridal bouquet as well as the centerpieces. This unique large bloom comes from Africa and is absolutely stunning! It is fun to use but very big so a single one was all that was needed for her gorgeous bouquet. We designed it with white phalaenopsis orchids with some trailing curly willow. It was absolutely a one-of-a-kind bouquet and we loved creating it for her!
The bride also had a lovely fresh flower head piece instead of a veil. We designed it with a single phalaenopsis orchid, a few dendrobium orchid florets, and seeded eucalyptus. It was very feminine and alluring. The bridesmaids carried all-white hydrangea bouquets which complemented the bride's bouquet wonderfully.
The wedding cake was a "naked cake" which also included protea with greens and touches of white wax flowers. It was a perfect addition to this charming wedding!
