The Healing Garden at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Hotel was recently the location for a lovely wedding for a very special couple. The sheer fabric on the Chuppah for this traditional Jewish ceremony was tied back with pink roses, and the roof of the structure was elegantly decorated with hydrangea and shades of pink roses such as Sweet Unique, pink Mondial and pink O’Hara. The aisles were embellished with six gold pedestals, three on each side, with large floral arrangements and white roses lined the aisle, providing an elegant footpath for the beautiful bridal party.
The gorgeous bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of garden roses, including white O’Hara, pink O’Hara and Playa Blanca. Her bridesmaids’ bouquets were downsized versions of hers, for consistency and the total “look” with all pink roses.
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to the pre-function area at the Ritz for a cocktail reception, where they found their table cards on a large round table in the center of which was an elevated floral arrangement. The elegant reception was held in the Ritz ballroom, where the bride and groom were featured at an elevated sweetheart table. Her bridal bouquet was placed on the table, and the arrangements previously seen in the ceremony aisle now flanked the sweetheart table with the addition of some candles.
The guests’ dinner tables were decorated with elevated arrangements of all white hydrangea with pink roses interspersed to add color. At the base of each centerpiece were three small floral clusters of roses in gold holders and three gold votive holders as well. By the way, we saved those small floral clusters for the brunch the following morning!
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the fabulous wedding cake which was prepared by the pastry chef at the Ritz and which was topped off by all pink roses.
All in all, this was a beautiful and elegant day in pink and white!
