Ritz Carlton’s Healing Garden was the setting for this lovely Sarasota wedding. The wedding flowers featured rich tones of red, bronze, orange and gold. After arriving by yacht, this bride walked along a 100-foot carpeted aisle lined by flowers.
After the ceremony, the 140 guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn of the Healing Garden. From there, the wedding reception moved into the Ritz Carlton Ballroom. Wedding decorations included backlit walls as well as upwards lighting under each of our wedding centerpieces.
For the floral arrangements, we used submerged orchids in the stem of a 26″ vase. This was topped with tropical flowers, roses and cascading amaranthus. Around the base, there were 3 smaller cylinders with gold Vanda orchids — floating under the ivory-lit candles. The wedding flowers color scheme looked beautiful in the Ritz Carlton Ballroom.

I am having our wedding June 25th at the Ritzcarlton. I really wou,d like to use purple phalaenopsis orchids. I would like some in vases similar to the white ones in your photos and in our bouquets. Can you give me an estimate for this? I have some photos of what I’m thinking that I can email once contacted. I’m excited to get my flowers figured out. Many are telling me that I should maybe do silk. What are your opinions on this? Thank you for your time.
Purple Phalaenopsis orchids are lovely. It would be best for you to fill out one of our consultation questionaire and then we can do up a preliminary wedding floral proposal which will give you pricing and options. The phals are a bit expensive so it will depend on your budget if they would be workable or not.
