Siesta Key Beach continues to be a big draw for our destination brides! This time a wonderful couple from the UK traveled all the way to Sarasota to have their special day at the beautiful Siesta Dunes Condo right on the beach. This was a small wedding of 14 people, but it was big in beauty and style!
Planning a destination wedding takes a lot of skill and organization and Anna Pohl was the planner of this incredible event from Linens by the Sea.
She was instrumental in pulling everything together for the big day. She arranged everything for this couple, from the tent & linens to the incredible photography by Tibor Imley, delicious food by Fete catering and even the officiant! Anna is a dream to work with!
Although the weather looked to be a bit threatening on the big day, they were able to have the beach wedding they always dreamed of…what a relief!
The bride’s bouquet was a simple hand-tied cluster of pink Sophie roses and yellow Skyline roses with a little bit of sparkle pinned in several of the blooms. You can never go wrong with sparkle!
The little flower girl carried a pompadour ball of the mini yellow and pink roses—she too had a touch of sparkle! We also tucked a few roses in the little girl’s hair…she was just adorable in her little soft pink chiffon dress!
The feasting-style dinner table fit the 14 guest perfectly! We used a runner of mirror down the length of the table so the candles and tiny lights in the ceiling of the tent would give a double reflection as the evening wore on—it created a magical effect!
We carried the beach theme onto the tables with lots of shells in the base of our floating candles and smaller votive holders. In between the candles, we used a couple of different style arrangements: some with just a single open rose and others with green hydrangea and a mix of the pink and yellow roses. We even used a few larger star fish leaned up against the candles as well!
This was a very affordable table setting and gave them a fabulous look…you really don’t have to break the bank to have a gorgeous wedding!

First, we send off a consultation form to the couple. After it’s completed, we then send a preliminary proposal with several options including bridal bouquets, arches, canopies, and even reception options. We also include pricing and photos along with all of the options.
It’s kind of like an oversized menu geared toward their needs, color scheme, and budget. We can work just through email to make the revisions and decisions or sometimes we will set up a phone consultation to get everything decided. It works the same for any of our destination brides—from Tampa to London! We love destination weddings!
