Oh, how we love destination weddings! We love helping brides and grooms realize their dream day, make it as stress-free as possible, and knock their socks off with amazing flowers!
This fun couple wanted a tropical look for their Ritz Carlton Beach Club wedding with the striking colors of teal and cream. To achieve the look without pulling in too much color, we used lots of green orchids, and a few of the smaller deep purple orchids. They looked absolutely outstanding against the bridesmaids’ teal dresses!
The couple was married under a bamboo canopy which featured white lilies and purples orchids. They also had 2 lovely large arrangements in bamboo vases at the back of the aisle to greet guests. The aisle was lined with Sheppard hooks with floral arrangements in green and white. These were then transitioned inside and used on the head table and cake table! It’s always fun to repurpose the flowers and get the most out of your budget!
The bride carried a stunning bouquet of white mini calla lilies, roses and green cymbidium with a bit of bling added. The groom wore double white dendrobium orchids. They both looked incredible!
The wedding took place on a warm sunny September day, but there’s always a breeze at the beach…it was perfect! The sky was blue and the air was clear. It couldn’t have been better!
The reception was held inside the Ritz Members Beach Club Grill. We used 3 different types of arrangements on the tables to create interest and drama in the room. It was really lovely!
Some tables had green submerged orchids in tall vases with up lighting in them. Other tables featured tall cylinders with curly willow with a small green orchid attached to the branches and a collar of green hydrangea topped with white garden roses…very dramatic and unique!
Finally, some tables were done in a tablescape-look using 3 arrangements in varying sizes of cubes. The tropical theme was achieved and it was gorgeous! Loads of candlelight was also used to add to the ambiance. Teal chair scarves were used to add a pop of color and complete the look.
