Romance abounded at this lovely destination wedding at the Ritz Carlton Members Beach Club! In addition to the absolutely perfect setting, many personal touches from the bride made this day extra special!
The flowers played a pivotal role in the romantic feel of this day. The bride greatly desired peonies for her bouquet. Initially, there was a concern we would have to substitute with garden roses since it was early in the season for peonies, however, we were thrilled we could get these extraordinary flowers for her out of Holland. The bouquet was lush and beautiful…peonies epitomize romance!
Our bride let her bridesmaids select their gowns and they chose colors of soft coral, peach and mauve pink. We picked matching gorgeous mauve pink and peach roses for their bouquets.
For the ceremony on the beach, we did a bamboo canopy draped with fabric and matching floral clusters. Simple clusters of baby’s breath tied on the ends of the chairs created an elegant and soft feel for the aisle. The flowers from the canopy were then re-purposed for the cozy lounge seating arrangement provided by MMD events. It had a really neat look and feel!
The reception was held on the aptly-named Sunset Terrace at the Ritz where the rays of the setting sun make everything glow! We decorated half of the tables with a mercury glass footed bowl with an assortment of hydrangea, baby’s breath, and roses.
On the other tables, we used a composite-look using 3 smaller mercury containers with flowers to match the other single larger centerpiece. These centerpieces created a very inviting look!
We also provided matching mercury votives for further sparkle and shine. All of the elements worked together to provide a magical, romantic scene—it was a perfect backdrop for the newlyweds and their friends as they danced the night away to live music by the Bay Kings Band.
A beautiful, personal touch at the reception was the memorial table that recognized those family members that had passed. It was lovingly decorated with with photos, flowers, and candles. It was a beautiful way to honor their memories and incredibly important to our bride.
