This colorful wedding was held at The Resort at Longboat Key Club with the ceremony on the gorgeous beach and reception in their Island House Venue.
The bride was looking for a bit of a tropical flair to her wedding. She had a love of bold colors like hot pink, deep corals with touches of soft pink, blush, and tropical foliage. She also loved texture, so in her bridal bouquet we used garden roses such as Juliette, Baroness, and Pink O’hara, smaller spray roses, hypericum berries, and silver dollar eucalyptus. Lots of color, lots of texture…this bouquet was exquisite!
The ceremony was on the beach and the bride’s mother walked her down the aisle which was lined with palm fronds to continue the tropical feel. Lanterns were used on shepherds hooks along the aisle as well and at the back to greet the guests.
The lanterns used on the beach were moved after the ceremony to the guest tables for the reception and became part of the centerpieces. These amazing tropical centerpieces also included monstera leaves, ghostwood (driftwood), and flowers to match the bridal bouquet.
The sweetheart table also had tropical touches as well as the wedding cake—it was simply a beautiful beach wedding in every way!
