This wedding took place at the incomparable Marie Selby Botanical Gardens with the ceremony at the Pavilion and the reception on the gorgeous lawn under a tent. It’s always a pleasure to do weddings at Selby Gardens…
The bride loved the look of greenery and simple flowers, so her bridal bouquet was a trailing effect of mini calla lilies with interesting greens and grasses. It was a perfect combination of greenery and simplicity which equaled unparalleled elegance! The bridesmaids and moms carried small clusters of mini calla as well. You can’t go wrong with calla lilies!
For the ceremony, two arrangements on tall white glass vases of assorted greenery were used to frame the couple at the pavilion. It created a very beautiful and natural effect!
The fresh, natural green look was continued for the reception. On the reception tables, tall large arrangements of fresh braided ficus plants on ceramic containers were used with fairy lights. The top of the soil was covered with greenery and grasses and then cream Asiatic lilies were added for just a bit of color. Each table was also loaded with silver and gold votives which added a warm and romantic glow to the tent at night. It really was stunning in every way!
The wedding cake, surrounded by glowing candles and topped with lovely calla lilies, was a beautiful addition to the reception—perfection!
This incredible day would not have been possible without the following amazing vendors…
