Rain or shine, we are determined to help you get the most beautiful wedding possible! And this wedding, despite a last-minute change of weather plans, was BEAUTIFUL! The ceremony was meant to be outside on the lawn at the Longboat Key Club, but due to rain, was moved under the tent where the reception was already planned to be held! And it was no problem—with some last minute rearranging with the help of Swanky Soiree, the ceremony site ended up being a dreamy place to exchange vows. This lovely couple who have their winter residence on LBK did not let a little weather spoil their day.
We used a gorgeous arch with flowers across the top with 2 lovely floral arrangements on the tie-back filled with luscious roses and hydrangeas in variety of colors including creams, shades of blush and pink plus a touch of soft blue to define the ceremony site. Swanky Soiree supplied the stunning chandelier. And at the base of the floral arch, there was a cluster of various sized silver lanterns which were later moved to either side of the Sweetheart table for the reception. It was romantic and pretty!
Swanky Soiree moved the Sweetheart table in front of the arch for the reception, which was a great idea! On the reception tables, we used 2 styles of arrangements— half with silver lanterns with flowers at the base and the other half were low bowls with pink and white flowers with sparkly silver mercury votive candles around them. We also decorated the hi-top, end, and coffee tables supplied by So Staged. It’s fun to work with such great vendors who desire to make the bride and groom happy and their special day beautiful!
The color palette of this wedding was soft pinks, blushes, white, and touches of blue. The bride chose a garden look for her bouquet with blush colored white O’hara roses, Pink Mondial & Playa Blanca garden roses, white Lizanthus and Ranunculus with Silver Dollar Eucalyptus with touches of Ruscus. The groom wore a white double rose boutonniere. And the wedding cake was surrounded by pink and white roses. The blue was found in the table clothes, floral arch, and few other strategic spots…it all looked magnificent!
