This lovely wedding was held in the chapel at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL and the reception was held at the elegant Sarasota Yacht Club. It was beautiful simplicity at its finest!

This particular wedding had no bridesmaids and the bride's aunt was a planner from out-of-town who assisted with the details. We re-purposed many of the flowers from the ceremony for the reception while the guests had cocktails in the foyer and bar area at the club.

We've said it before and we'll say it again, we love re-using flowers in a wedding to help the budget, all the while still making everything just like the bride has dreamed of—it's a win-win!

This bride chose a one-of-a-kind bouquet: it was a trailing wrist-style bridal bouquet with lots of bling, Swarovski crystals, and all-white Phalaenopsis orchids. It is NOT something you see every day! It was out-of-this-world beautiful! The cuff was all sparkly rhinestones and the orchids had additional bling and rhinestones...we loved how the orchids trailed off the cuff.

The ceremony flowers were a stunning combination of hydrangea, garden playa Blanca roses, white stock, blush Marco Polo dendrobium orchids, and phalaenopsis orchids. At the back of the aisle we designed trailing orchids with prisms off the back pew where the guest entered nested into a hydrangea base. We later transferred and used these flowers to the wedding cake table as shown in photos. Additional flowers were used on every other pew down the aisle. We also used 2 all-white urns on columns behind the altar. These were also moved to be used at the yacht club as the guests entered the ballroom.

The unity candle centerpiece was also a show stopper. This centerpiece had trailing phalaenopsis orchids with hydrangea which was later taken to ballroom for the reception.

The reception flowers were all elevated centerpieces on top of our elegant double bell vases with white hydrangea, pink Mondial garden roses with stock flowers to give a trailing effect...these made a dramatic and spectacular statement for the reception tables.

We trimmed the cake with white phaleanopsis orchids, Pink Mondial roses, and blush Marco polo dendrobium—it was so beautiful!

It was a joy to work on this wedding and the following talented vendors made this day possible...
