This destination wedding had a spectacular all-white classic look...elegant, sophisticated, and beautiful!
The ceremony was in the gorgeous Healing Garden at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota facing the sparkling water. We used 4 of our stately white columns with stunning all- white hydrangea and roses to frame the couple with 2 on each side with varying heights. The back of the aisle had low glass vases with bouquets of all-white roses. Three of these were used per side at varying heights. It was a lovely look!
All of these arrangements were later brought into the ballroom for the reception by our brilliant and hard-working staff for double-duty use and to add a real wow factor to the rooms. Affairs in the Air used draping to create an "air wall” dividing the large ballroom space into additional smaller ballrooms. It was amazing!
The beautiful bride carried an all-white phalaenopsis bouquet with a hint of white hydrangea on the underside to hide the mechanics by the designer...a brilliant touch! Each of the bridesmaids carried a single open-cut calla lily with a little lily grass and the moms carried mini white calla. The adorable flower girl had a crown of small spray roses with a hint of blush and an all-white spray rose pompadour ball that hung from her wrist!
When the guests entered the ballroom, there was a tall acrylic place card holder sign with a touch of garland and flowers at the top and a couple of the vases from the back of the aisle at the base...more double-duty and very chic! Be sure to check out the acrylic sign in the gallery below.
The ballroom was an absolute feast for the eyes with the pretty flowers and loads of glowing candle light. There was a long feasting-style head table where the couple and all the groomsmen and bridesmaids sat. The bridal bouquet was placed in the center of this table with elevated arrangements of white hydrangea and roses, loads of cylinders with floating candles, and sparkling blingy varying-height votive holders. Simply stunning!
Half of the guest tables were designed with all candles featuring cylinders of varying sizes on top of 60” round mirrors to give a double reflection plus bling votives! It had such a beautiful glowing effect, particularly at night! The other tables held footed 28” double bell vases with larger arrangements of white hydrangea and roses with a touch of greenery and more bling votives. These guest table centerpieces were truly showstoppers!
The 4 larger floral arrangements from the ceremony were flanked behind the bride and groom's head table and the additional pieces from the ceremony where used to add a pretty backdrop to the cake table, where the pastry chef used fresh flowers. Such a gorgeous sight!
